The Rams will likely be able to sign Jackson, according to a source familiar with the situation.
Sources have told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the Rams are close to signing the wide receiver to a one-year deal, but Jackson has yet to be signed.
Rapoports sources said the deal will likely involve a $7 million signing bonus and a base salary of $7.9 million.
The Rams’ interest in Jackson stems from the fact that he’s been a fixture on their depth chart for the past several years.
He was signed in free agency last offseason after the team released DeSean Williams.
