David’s wedding was going to be in Sydney this summer, but he was still waiting for the paperwork to be submitted.
He didn’t want to rush, and the appointments took longer than expected.
“I think my whole life I’ve been doing it by appointment and then I just had a baby and now I’ve got to go through the whole process again,” he said.
“It’s really frustrating.
I’m just so tired of it.”
David says the appointments are so frustrating he’s made two new appointments this year.
The first appointment took him to the DMV, where he had to fill out a form for a driver licence.
Then there was a dental appointment, and he had the paperwork for a dental licence for a family member.
He says the dental appointment is one of the worst.
“That’s not the first time I’ve had that,” he told the ABC.
“If it’s a dental, it’s just like a dentist, but if it’s an appointment for a driving license, it takes a lot longer.”
We can’t be at home and we can’t get home on time, so it’s not ideal.
“The dentist appointment took longer because he needed to fill in the paperwork with the dentist.
David says he is hoping the changes will improve things.”
A lot of the time you’re trying to do the right thing, so the appointments, that’s the hardest part,” he says.”
And I think it’s going to change.
